Beau Sam began his career in the fashion departments as a summer intern at Teen VOGUE and American VOGUE, while simultaneously earning a bachelors degree in fine arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore. Following the completion of Sam's studies, he relocated to New York City to work at VOGUE under the direction of André Leon Talley. During Sam's seven years at VOGUE, he also held the post of Associate Fashion Editor to VOGUE's former Fashion Director, Tonne Goodman, and later, acting New Media Editor, where he helped spearhead VOGUE.com’s Digital's social media relaunch as well as original video content across all platforms. As the New Media Editor, he curated all the social platforms and created videos for each platform. Before venturing on to freelance content creation--which is not limited to directing, producing, and creative consulting -- Sam was named Director of Video for W Magazine where he managed and oversaw all video directives and content.
Beau is now freelance as a video director and content creator in New York City.
